Ecclesiastes 4:6 (AMPC): "Better is a handful with quietness than both hands full with painful effort, a vain striving after the wind and a feeding on it."

God desires for us to be productive with our time, and fruitful in our efforts. He loves to see us having influence everywhere we go, representing Him well. In all this, it gives Him no pleasure to see us struggle and hustle our way into getting results - especially when it brings pain and frustration, instead of peace and joy.

If you find your efforts keep hitting a brick wall and your joy is being replaced by discouragement, take time to sit in His Presence and hear His voice for a better strategy. Remember, it's not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit that we accomplish the impossible. His blessing makes rich and adds no sorrow or painful toil with it. In all your investments today, especially time invested, remember to give the Lord pre-eminence in every decision and plan of action. Trust Him to show you the path to take, and follow His lead to success and favor, as you depend on His practical wisdom today. Commit your ways to the Lord, lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path! (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Thanks,
JESUS IS LORD.
