Matthew 12:47Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
What is the will of the Father? What is the Word of God we need to hear and keep it?
John 14:6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
1 Timothy 2: 5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
John 5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41I receive not honour from men. 42But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
John 5: 22For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
The definition of the "anti-christ" is "instead of Christ". You cannot honour God the Father by honouring Mary. You cannot honour God the Father by anyone else or including anyone else but by the Son. The moment you stop honouring the Son, you are no longer honouring the Father. That is how believers will be judged.
And if Jesus deferred people from exalting Mary and honouring her when He and His mother were living upon the earth back then, He will expect His followers to do the same now.
If any doubt this edification, then for you to go to Mary in prayer "instead of Christ" is by definition, making her the "anti-christ". How can she be honoured in God's eyes by anyone doing that?
John 15:13Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber....
You really want to put Mary and the other saints inbetween you and Jesus and thus making them the robber and the thief Biblically?
John 10: 7Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
Jesus has proved His love for you. There is no greater love. Mary cannot even come close. Go to Jesus as He has commanded in His invitation. He is the Bridegroom as we are to be the Bride. He is our first love. By not going to Him, is not believing in His love for you... and thus you do not know Him. It's time you did. Go to Jesus now.
