That is so powerfull, Isaiah 30:15 In repentance and rest is your salvation, In quietness and trust is your strength. Some words from Exodus 14, go along with how peacefull Jesus was; compose yourselves in confidence in God... Very Powerfull, Paul and Silas sang and the iron bars busted.. Strongholds are like that..No wonder it says, rejoice always,,,, TY.
.....
and, again, I say, rejoice.
Even Jesus knew and FELT real human pain. I think, Jesus heard words like these as He was sweating drops of blood at the Garden of Gethsemane, as, He looked off at the disciples He asked to stay awake, for evil is around, and, what were they doing? ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Discouraged from all this? You bet ! But, that when Love comes to town and, I think we can be certain, that God assuaged Jesus' sad heart at his friends letting Him down, in His human nature, such as is ours, but, without sin, by these words, spoken to His torn, 'cupped' heart.
Rejoice always,
17pray continually,
18give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
19Do not quench the Spirit.
20Do not treat prophecies with contempt
21but test them all; hold on to what is good,
22reject every kind of evil.
23May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

He may have been preparing to follow the Lord's will. We today may be called by God to do hard things or things that are not easy at all but we should give God praise for using us for the greater good.
Jesus was a 'suffering servant,' and we to be too
