Job 14
He first thought he will soon be dead by talking about flower and shadow (verse 2)and he finds hope in saying that trees has new life (verse 7)
Job misunderstanding God's ways and shows he lacks wisdom concerning things that happen.
Job 15
Another dispute: He and his friends know just as much because one is older than Job’s father. They lack wisdom and don’t say the right words/things.
They were trying to prove they were right and Job is wrong, they even thought he was fighting with God but Job was only reasoning himself with God.
Job's friend Eliphaz feel that Job thinks he has more wisdom them they do (verse 9). Even though both Job and his friends were wrong, each one of them felt that they were right and continued to stick with their own insight. Something we should be careful of. Reminds me of times when I (or others) have felt so sure in advice I'm giving, but ended up being wrong. Sometimes people are more concerned about being right and their own integrity and are too proud to admit that maybe they are wrong.
