Judge's Language assistance

i hope i am not out of line for posting this here, and if i am, please tell me and i'll take it down.

for the last 2 months, i've been working on building my own language from scratch, one that would remove some of the ambiguity of other languages, and more easily understood when read or heard. i am not going to provide it here since this is an english forum (unless requested, then i will email), but i would like some simple assistance.

all im asking for, is this; i need common sentences used in english.

i shall be using them as a basis of focusing my effort on making these common phrases easily written in my new language. i shall provide a few as examples.

the sunlight coming in my window is beautiful.
silense is golden, but a word of encouragement is worth its weight in platinum.
when i walk with a broken foot, it hurts.
i totally caught that.

it is called koine greek

it is very precise

the New Testament is written in Koine Greek

i looked that up, it was really cool, but im not trying to copy any particular language, i am creating one from scratch.

Well I think it is a neat idea. J. R. R. Tolkien created his own language which he put in the Lord of The Rings as the elven language.

It is a very creative thing to do and will be something that really gets you involved in understanding the workings of various languages in the process. I hope you have fun, I'm sure the road will be very difficult but very fulfilling!

im not using greek as a starting place, mainly because this project is a language built for a fictional alien race in a fantasy story i started writing years ago...i recently brought it upon myself to actually create a language rather than just write english with funny symbols instead of letters. the cultural background of the people who speak it are unlike anyone on earth and have very different views of the universe.

as i have said before, im mainly looking for sentences that will help me translate. i appreciate the interest, and wouldnt mind getting together sometime to discuss it, i shall email you both with more information.
