I tried this a little while ago and found that it turned jello into an even more delightful treat.
Just make jello according to the instructions. But instead of the last instructions of two cups of cold water use two cups of your favorate soda.
Make sure it will complment the jello flavor though, dont use rootbeer with strawberry, you get the idea.
But adding orange to orange, or a plain soda to any flavor is very good.

Actually, a gingerbeer,( or rootbeer as you call it,) spider (that's soft drink, [or soda as you call it,] with icecream in it,) using boysenserry swirl icecream used to be one of my favouritest things in the world before my problem with dairy products got too severe.

Mmm all pink and gingery and creamy. Ohh how I miss that. I wonder whether jelly (or jello as you call it) with gingerbeer (rootbeer) in it would apeal to me through memory association.

Anyway. Maybe that's just one of my strange little personal tastes that other people wouldn't get.

Love the idea of adding fizzy drink to jelly though, that's cool. I guess you could experiment with combinations the way you would to make punch.(Americans know what punch is right? I think maybe you call it fruit punch..) Sounds like fun, thanks for the tip. :)

lol yes, we know what punch is. Sometimes my brother will make watermelon juice and put sprite (lemon lime soda) or ginger ale in it. It's superyummy.
