Malachi 1:6-8
6 A son honors his father and a servant his master; if then I be a Father where is my honor? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of host, O you priest, that despise my name .And say how have we despised thy name?
7 You offer polluted bread upon my alter; and say, The table of the Lord is contemptible.
8 And you offer the blind for your sacrifice, Is this not evil? and if you offer the lame and the sick, is that not evil? Offer it now to the govenor; will he be pleased with you? or accept thy person? saith the Lord of host.

This is us ''The American church''of today, we do not honor God nor do we fear him. We honor ourselves and fear nothing, we have been taught by seeker sensitive churches and the OSAS doctrine and the hyper grace teachers that all we must do is make a profession of faith and we are eternaly secure.
We live Mon-Sat like the world and think we can come to church on Sunday and worship God this is polluted bread and dishonors God.
We party all weekend and show up Sunday morning giving God praise this is blind, lame, and sick sacrifices and shows a lack of fear and knowledge of the righteous judgment of God.
We dishonor God in our action, teaching, beliefs, and doctrine.

Malachi 1:9-10
9 And now you pray and beseech God that he will be gracious unto us; this is been by your means will he regard your persons? saith the Lord.
10 Who in there even among you would shut the door for naught? neither do you kindle fire on my altar for naught. I have no pleasure on you, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

You think that God will be gracious to you for showing up on Sunday and claiming his name, HE WILL NOT.
He takes no pleasure in you.
Your profession of faith is mute.
He will not here your lies.

What we must do is is turn to God out of a pure and honest heart of repentance.
Then he will hear you and forgive your sins.

Refrain from sin, die to self, and exalt God into his proper place.
Then he will justify you.

Honor and Fear God now for judgment is coming.

I believe we have been bought with a price and that being said, we are eternally His as we are sealed as His. How we build in that relationship with the Lord is paramount to keeping the faith and abiding in Him or not. We are not in the process of being saved, we are saved. If OSAS are saying one can sin to their hearts delight, and there would be no consequences, then no, God forbid it, but that is not a part of OSAS teaching, now is it? We look at scripture as it gives warning about defiling the temple of God where the Holy Spirit dwells which our bodies are. This is the a parmount truth of being eternally secured in that we are His.. and the wrath of God will fall on the sons of disobedience for those that look to works to be justified as His thus being akin to the foolish virgins that have no oil in their lamps for their faith is not shining on what Christ has done... and yet after the rapture.. after the Bridegroom come for the Bride, then their light will be shining because they will know to be witnesses of Him in what He has done and not bear false witness to the contrary... and again... to the prodigal sons that gave up their first inheritance for wild living, thinking it does not matter what they do, thinking they can live in sin and not become worse than they were before... well they will find out to their error that whatsoever they sow, they shall reap.. to the flesh.. shall reap corruption... to yield to sin is to allow oneself to be overcome by them again, but even those things shall be burned away as what remains is a witness of what Christ has done for he will still be seen as son.

Is it not odd that those that come out of the great tribulation... one set of saints need to be given robes as if they were naked of their wedding garment.. the righteousness of God by faith and the other group coming out of the great tribulation needed their robes washed by the blood of the Lamb indicative of the prodigal son for giving up his first inheritance for wild living as the corruption will be washed away so that all that remains is what the Lord has bought with a price and sealed as his to bear witness of Him and what He has done.

So the OSAS as a paramount issue is dangerous on both flip sides of the coin: although eternally secured, one must emphasize that how we build in that relationship with the Lord is how one stays abiding in Him having been freed from the bondage to sin and to death so that we may no longer live in them but as His children... and yet the argumentative other side of the OSAS in its opposition... are in danger of voiding the faith in what Christ has done, looking to emphasize works as the means for justification and not as fruits of our life while abiding in Him.

The just shall live by faith... the emphasis is on the relationship with God through Jesus Christ as Our Saviour and as Our Good Shepherd. Getting to know God the Father through God the Son is what christianity is all about as we live by faith in the Son of God and all His promises to us.

So the call is to be ready now..to trust the Lord to have us ready as the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ is our wedding garment.

Colossians 1:21And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

2 Timothy 2:19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Jude 1: 24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
