I do not find any old testament reference to Jesus' most important miracle, the raising of Lazarus from the dead. WHY is there NO reference in the old testament ??? this is really very strange.. it makes the new testament seem weaker and even makes me completely doubt the new testament.... If Jesus was the prophesied messiah then his miracle would have been prophesied, but its not... this seems very, very weird... if you can offer an non fanatical explanation or sweeping cliche' then please feel free.. Otherwise know that it will drive me away from a deep belief...

A) that's a silly reason to question your faith. It's, essentially, telling God how He "should" do things. If your faith is that weak that something so irrelevant breaks it then you are just looking for an excuse to walk away, no matter how silly the reason.
B) if you want to ask a question why not post where everyone else is posting rather than here?

Isa 35:3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Isa 35:4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Isa 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Isa 35:6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

God is not going to tell us every individual miracle that Jesus did,and the name of the person, but that miracles will be done when the Messiah comes.

Some may say that the raising of Lazarus should be in the Old Testament for it is such a big miracle, but there is no difference to God if He heals someone of the common cold,or raises them from the dead,it is all easy to God.

God said nothing is too hard for Him,and Jesus said everything is possible with God.

Raising Lazarus is not hard for God like Him healing someone that has the sniffles,or a wee cough.

Create a planet, create a person, heal a person of a cold,it is all easy for God,for He understands how to assemble all physical matter to what He wants, and give life, and there is not one thing that is more difficult to do than another thing with God.

Humans may have a difficult time with some things compared to other things, but to God it is all easy, and the same to Him.

Jesus said what is more difficult forgiving of sins,or a miracle, for there is no difference with God.Him raising Lazarus from the dead is as easy as Him saying your sins are forgiven.

So the raising of Lazarus is not really some great miracle, and all the others pale in comparison that it has to be mentioned in the Old Testament of its greatness, for all miracles are the same to God.

Jesus healing the blind, and deaf, and the lame, should be enough information in the Old Testament to give them proof that Jesus is the Messiah, for no man did what He did.

Jesus miracles were not mostly prophecied, His miracles were prophecied in generality saying " He would give sight to the blind, and deliver captives" His miracles were for the belief of those who saw them. theres no reason they would each be prophecied individually. the point is if you believe in God, and there is a guy raising the dead and giving glory to God......its probably a good idea to listen to what he is saying.

Israel in Jesus day was ruled by rome, an idolatrous and philisophical society of debaters and theologines, many men had disciples teachers taught doctrines and those who agreed followed. it was thier world because men believed in God mush more. even idolaters had a deep need to create a god to worship and explain the origins of man and creation. before technology mans spirituality was much more apparent and necassary.

when all the sudden this Jesus appears, born of a voirgin, called out of egypt, the one whom the spirit descends upon at baptism, the One God says " this is my beloved son, hear him" the One healing, delivering from demonic possession, raising the dead...he probably should be the One to follow because He is saying " my miracles they are Gods Power not mine, Give God glory" " My Words are not mine, they are Gods give God the glory"...hes the One to believe and record His gospel message and teachings...the One to call Lord.

Jesus Life is the fulfillment of the prophets, lazarus is One of the miracles God did By Jesus Christ so that thosewho saw would believe and carry on His message to the world.
