The pastor of the church I attend put me over the children's church last night. We are looking for a good ciriculum for the kids. If you know of any good materials for children's church I would love to hear about it.
 
Have you ever done a Vacation Bible School? We did one the first summer I was with my church and it was a blast. There are packages of props, materials, lessons, ideas , topics, etc. you can order online. Sorry, I don't know the website, I would google Vacation Bible School and see what you can find. If you can't afford the packages there are probably loads of ideas just on the websites you can use on your own, things you can make, etc.

Our VBS was 5 days, from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. The kids and the adults all had a great time. Hope this helps, have fun and God bless you.
 
I would first go to Family Christian Bookstore. They carry many small group materials and that includes for kids. Even if they don't have what you need in stock they can order it for you. You can also do an online search for a youth group package. The best solution may to go and talk to other Youth Pastors. they have a wealth of resources and ideas and most love to share them. In many cases it also leads to inter-church youth fellowship which is an awesome benefit of sharing your need with other Youth Pastors. Hope this helps,
