since baptism mean that you are follower of jesus and your sin has been washed away that you should turn away from all your sin so if you had something thats been botherin about the past but you already forgive yourself in the other person for example you fought with someonne since you won the fight he said" he will get you dnt worry "so when you get baptise that sin washed away its already a past you no longer the old you anmymore cause you a different person in the name of god so how will you turn away from that sin since the person told you that he will get you so should you bring it to the altar and do not have any fear about it just let it to god and just forget it believe that he washed away that he will take care of it even it had happened in the old you since now you a new person now that he will fight for you even your old you is dead.

That sin is gone. When you are baptized and when you ask forgiveness of the Lord, your sins are washed away and your soul is new again.

In the old testament, an animal sacrifice was offered to God the Father to cover a person's sin. God demanded that the animal's remains be burned until NOTHING remained. The reason the remains were to be completely destroyed is because God does not want any part of that sin to remain. NOW...when Jesus died on the cross he himself was a sacrifice to pay for everyone's sins and also to make it so that we do not have to sacrifice anymore animals. When God forgives you of a sin it is COMPLETELY forgiven.
