Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.
1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.
Obeying the truth, through the Spirit gives us ufeigned love for the brethren. The more we obey the truth and obey the Spirit of God we will love the brethren. If you find yourself lacking love you need more truth. Truth and the Holy Spirit will lead to love of other Christians. Hating Christians is built on lies and is not of the Holy Spirit.
1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
Loving our brother is a sign that we are alive in Christ. If we do not love our brothers we are dead and not born again. It is like our spiritual pulse to show that we are alive in Christ. It is like spiritual breathing to love our brethren. It is a vital sign. People who hate Christians are not Christians.
