Dear God,

I've learned a lot from you lately. I don't need people to keep me in a good mood, or to rely on them to catch me when I fall. No one stays forever really. They come and go. They might not be there every night, and so what? What shall I do then? I've come to realize that I have to depend on you more. People die, and can mainly help me with my spiritual walk to help me sharpen it up. And they most certainly are, they are showing me to rely on you. And only you when I need someone there for me. It's been rough figuring this out, countless nights of feeling alone. Trust broken by someone you thought you knew. Thinking someone can help you no matter what, and really they just can't. Someone with you every step of the way, but can't stay for much longer. It's been hard, crying myself to sleep thinking no one cares at night. I would run to you on most occasions, but the ones that hurt the most, I relied on human to help me. That was fault in thinking that for the past few years. I will become stronger in knowing I need to run to you always. I've known this, just never applied it. I'm so sorry I haven't done this sooner. I only want you to be proud of me and tell me 'Well done my child' and I have hope that when I come home to you, you will.

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!" -Matthew 25:21

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.." -Colossians 3:23

Thank you God.
~Love Angel

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him."
