Born in the war a storm formed in the abyss
Forewarned of the thorns that are found in the midst
Bow down to the sound of a voice in the wind
With no choice in the end but to make it through the night
A cold heart froze livin water into black ice
My people die behind gats riggs and crack pipes
Pushin back light, we fix our sights on the game
Servin feinds enslaved to drugs that be coursin in veins
We can't withstand the downpourin torrents of rain
But the rage lays dormant its a horrible game
And the people that we love are forcin more of the same
Lost souls torn apart are immortal in flames
With that I could touch somethin more than my chains
Yeah this is civil war but were all the slaves
If only we could see that the price has been paid
Christ has been raised and his light gives life to the slaves
