Living as a Christian…embracing Christianity…in a world that is fallen in sin…brokenness…filled with moral and spiritual decay…is not a straightforward or easy path. It can be quite challenging…especially when faced with various temptations and moral struggles that surround us daily. In fact, the reality is that being a Christian is met with hate…persecution…and there is the ongoing battle of fighting against what the flesh wants.

So, since that is the case…then why am I a Christian? If it is not due to an easy life…if it is met with hate and persecution…and if it is an ongoing fight of denying what the flesh wants… why do I follow Jesus? The answer is simple for me: My faith…is rooted in the conviction…that Christianity is based on an overwhelming amount of evidence…which it stems from. And my commitment to following Jesus…is driven not by an attraction of an easy life…but by the understanding that what Jesus taught…as well as His and resurrection..are all true.
