I myself am completely convinced that there is a God; and this conclusion can be reached with logic alone. Bear with me because this may get a bit abstract. At some point, there must be an eternal, something that has always existed, because we know that not everything could have had something before it, otherwise you have an endless cycle that collapses on itself logically speaking. This something from which all other things came from has therefore always been there. Next, we see if this eternal precusor of all things had it's own will and ability to perform actions. Consider if the thing which was eternal had no mind, but was inanimate congregation of elements. The very fact that it is both eternal and inanimate means it is unchangeable, because if it was changeable for eternity, it would require a will or a force which initiates the action or change. We know now that something changed because we who are not eternal came into being and not only us but the entire universe is constantly changing. Scientifically speaking, something that is eternal cannot change, move, or act without some form of applied force, it would have to be, as it were, as a frozen picture. So now you have an eternal precursor that has the ability to change, move, and initiate actions. Now we have a name for this eternal force which is able to initiate actions; God.
