In the meantime, do some self therapy to help regain some balance. Break down your life into different compartments; relationships, friendships, child-rearing, marriage, responsibilities, family, job, your home life, your self-esteem, your emotional health, your spiritual health, your physical health, your diet, your finances, your goals, your dreams, your disappointments, your personality, your limitations, etc. Make a list of all these and write notes next to each one and record your thoughts. Spend some time determining what causes you to feel a certain way.
You will notice there are certain things you will be able to change and some you can't. For example, you can change your diet. You can change your job (if you have one that is contributing to the problem). You can change your perception of yourself, your parenting appraoch, your personal self disciplines, your goals, your expectations, and your schedule. Identifying the root cause of your mental anguish is the beginning to restoration. It is a process and not a quick fix. Let someone help you.
"Lord, I pray for my friend right now as she sees herself on the brink of despair. I pray you will come quickly to rescue her and plant her feet in a firm place because you delight in her. I pray you will reveal to her what she must do, where she can find help, and who she must call. You are all wise, all loving, all knowing, forgiving, and merciful in all your ways. I ask you to reach out and touch this woman who is crying out for help. I ask you to make your presence known to her and bring peace into her heart as only you can. Give her understanding so she may know her options. Please release her from the grip of torment, and whatever else is preventing her from becoming the person you designed her to be. Let her know there is freedom in Jesus. I pray these things in your name. Amen."
