God's gift ...
My love for you
Was not born
In a desire of flesh,
Or any sense, mind or reason.
Not from any search,
Looking for perfect discovery or
Feeling I was worthy of this
And more.
You put it in my hands,
A gift from you to me,
A message from within your words,
Jumped out at me with feelings.
You placed your soul in mine,
Made room for mine in yours.
Not measured in shapes
Or sizes, or even weights and measures.
Simply, a warm sweet hum
A bundle of grace,
And love without walls
To restrain it.
