You guys are overwhelming me by even saying the little word......thanks! We're not at all use to it.
In the past five years we've sent hundreds of copies out to Christians. We've gotten about 4 or 5 'thanks' back. I kid you not.
I don't need a marching band and a banner but to get just a 'thanks' once in a while is encouraging.
We don't need a house to fall on us to get it. We know it's a low budget film. We're not delusional. No bells and whistles, and nobody knew how to act. All voluntary. That's why God had me use this story. Just simple people ,street people playing street people except for a few friends we had.
We also know God had us do it.
The dead silence we get from hundreds speaks volumes.
I really believe it has something to do with the 'lacking natural affection' and 'lacking gratitude' deal in these last days with the laodecian spirit. Also people are scared in the times we live in. Stress level high. Cares of this life overwhelming. Lot a reasons I'm sure.
No boo hoo here just discerning the times in which we live. Again I appreciate any crumbs that fall from the table..they are feasts to us! Smiling. Praising His Name.
A couple of side notes: My wife plays Maddy. Now in real life, when she was 20 her parents really were killed in a car accident south of Seatle.
In 1980 we went out to feed the people on the street. This guy came up and said 'I've been watching what you are doing on the street here with your children and I've decided to go back home to Alabama to my family.' That was worth it all.
I played the part of that guy.
The rest was pretty much fictional. The street ministry we had to stop because of lack of funds. But boy was those times on the street anointed. Be free. Be blessed.
