Ever since i joined cc, which hasn't been that long ago, i have tried to jump in the chat room and make friends. However i feel that anytime i say anything i'm just being ignored. It kind of baffles me because in real life its so easy for me to make friends and yet on here noone seems to be interested. I'm a stay at home mom therefore i don't get a lot of adult interaction throughout the day so i thought joining this chat would give me the opportunity to fellowship with people who i can relate to. I guess what i'm trying to say is that im very dissapointed in what i've found here. I mean, this is supposed to be a christian chat and yet noone takes an interest to break out of their clique's and greet the newbies. Maybe i'm making a lot of enemies by posting this however i just felt that it needed to be said. I hope noone is offended because that was not my intent, im simply just stating an opinion. God bless you all.
It is hard to make friends. It seems harder to make Christian friends. I don't know anyone here but I
do post a lot. I just try to help others as best I can by stating what God's Word says.
The friendship thing seems to elude most of us. Even the churches I've been to aren't any different
than this chat. Most Christians have opinions but not based on God's Word. They also are
stand-offish and I have not been able to figure out how Christians will ever unite when they strive
to stay independent of other Christians and many seem to strive to stay away from God.
We aren't allowed to tell someone they are not following God's Word because we are judging but
Jesus told us to judge each other in love and guide each other. Paul judged people and the entire
church when they were not following God's Word. Many Christians are more about adapting God's
Word to their situation than adapting their life to Christ. Many will say this is judging but if you read
the posts by many that claim to be Christians, what they are doing is wrong according to God.
But if you say anything, you are judging them instead of following Christ teaching that we are each
to look out for each other and correct each other so we stay following Christ. The church and most
Christians are so busy with "don't tell me I'm wrong" they don't even have time to read God's Word
to see that they are.
I just posted earlier about when Christ returns He better not return during a football game or try
to judge the church because the church will tell Him straight He isn't supposed to judge others!
