Acts 13:43 (NLT): "Many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, and the two men urged them to continue to rely on the grace of God."
Paul and Barnabas were preaching about Jesus in the synagogue; the people listening begged them to return and continue preaching. These two men were marked by something, and the message they were preaching drew people to them, wanting more. They were marked by the living relationship they had with the Word of God (Jesus) and the vital connection they had to the power of His Holy Spirit abiding in them. Their preaching was alive with truth that cut to the listener's core and carried demonstrative power with it.
As God's representatives, we must be carriers of the same. When we are marked by the encounter we have with the Living Word of God, we will see the same results Paul and Barnabas did. People everywhere are hungry and desperate for it! God's Word and Presence in us shines so much brighter than what is happening in the world around us, the darkness will have no option but to disappear and people will be set free by what we carry. As you obey His Word, marked by His goodness and blessing, others will be desperate to know the God you represent and serve.
Thanks,
JESUS IS LORD.

Definitely, we will be marked men in this crazy world and may even lose our lives for the sake of Christ.
