Hello dear friends from Christian Chat!
I would like to ask you to consider praying and possibly fasting for me as a huge and amazing opportunity came up for me! I got accepted to be one of 130 Missionaries that will be part of the World Race.
It was in 2016 during an unforgettable night that I prayed to God and I told Him “I really just want to travel for a year, being discipled and forced to die to myself while doing ministry. That is all I want to do.” And since I kept getting confirmations along the way, that this was something He was lining up for me. And now I am so excited to share with you the door He opened for me!
In August 2018 I am embarking on an Adventure of a lifetime with the World Race. An 11 month mission trip which will lead through 11 countries and across 3 continents! This is the route I am traveling on: Chile, Peru, Colombia, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities, plant churches, work in orphanages and minister to women and children trapped in human trafficking.
I got accepted in April and I know this is God's will because of all kinds of confirmations. I know I will see such amazing miracles from now until my launch in August. That God is an amazing Provider and so far all kinds of things have just supernaturally fallen into place, like only God can orchastrate things.
Things you could be praying for me:
1. Pray for our (me and my squads) emotional, spiritual and physical health during this very difficult journey and that we will stretch and mold according to God's will. That we will allow Him to change us in whichever way pleases Him. Pray for our safety and for our relationships and bonds to be strong and that the way we come to serve and love each other will be like the 11th commandment Jesus gave his disciples.
2. Pray for the counties we will be visiting and the communities we will come in touch with. Your prayers and fastin will help pave the way for our ministry and build bridges we can cross to bring Christ's healing and freedom into spiritually dark places.
3. Me and all my squad mates are in the process of intense fund raising. (I just now am in the process of even beginning). Please pray that we won't get discouraged and that the money will not be the nr. 1 concern we have! That we don't forget to keep our eyes on Jesus throughout this journey and that this mission is secondary to bringing glory to our God. He has to always remain nr. 1.
