Moments With Jesus

Sitting by the water's edge,
Hearing the rippling of the water,
Seeing the moonbeams cross my mind
Feeling Your love as I unwind.
Where are you now, my best Friend
Sparkling in the twilight precious and near.
The more we think,
The closer we get,
To that day in paradise,
That's so near and yet,
Passes us by, the closer we get.
Flowers and sunshine in my prayer
Love embracing your every word
I see your image in the shadows,
Of each passing moment
As we come together to be as one.

Lovely, Dusty. I always feel peace when I read your poetry. I wonder what it will be like to live in Jesus' presence without the burden of sin -- to think and move and laugh and love in heaven. Will we even remember the things we've experienced here? I don't believe we'll even think about it.

When we will be in heaven we will be purified and have no need to going back
to earthly memories. His love that we will experience is beyond the frailties
of our time on earth. God is so beautiful and we can experience some of that
even now with prayer. Glory to Him always, smiles.
