Whatever overcomes you brings you into bondage to serve it. Loving money is bondage. Loving this world is bondage. Loving sin is bondage. Loving you own life more than Jesus Christ is bondage. And whoever loves this life will loose it, but whoever hates this life, forsakes it for his name's sake will gain eternal life.
Many people are in chains to bondage by and through sin. If money is your God it will bring you into bondage. I have seen the end of it and it is death. FORSAKE THIS WORLD!!!! AND YOU WILL NOT BE FORSAKEN OF GOD!! Loose this life to gain that eternal life. ALL IF IT IS VANITY!!! IT VEXES THE SOUL!!!
The nations worship riches. And the governments establish the rich but afflict the poor. They are building a temple of worship to it. They are drawing followers after them, and then they will set the trap. You might think you own your money, but you will find that you money owns you. Many people are going to betray Jesus for earthly riches. They are going to betray him for their own lives. They will gladly disobey his commands. They are being set up for distraction and a trap.
Only Jesus can deliver one from this trap. Love God, forsake everything else of this world. Fear him and keep his commands.
