I watched the news the other night, I found out that most of the US 1.5 billion in "aid" goes to the Egyptian military. I guess some of that aid money was used when the military fired on people praying. I am not sure why the US will continue to bank roll the Egyptian military. I guess as long as they are firing on their own people and not their neighbours everything is ok.
i think the US has traditionally paid Egypt to not do anything in regional conflicts.
the trouble apparently started when puppet Mubark said no to the Gulf wars and post 9-11 stuff.
something's wrong when the West doesn't like men like Nasser.
you can't keep a nation backward when they are standing on their own feet.
Morsi's first order of business was okay'ing the IMF.
LOL....hey all you hungry peasants....austerity comin (after i promised equity and improved living conditions).

the Egyptian military apparently, like Turkey (who f-i-i-i-i-i-i-inally figured out why they were so "popular" with the west) refused to charge directly in to Syria and kill other Arabs.
the whole thing is mind-boggling - the manipulation.
BUT - that teensy square mile in London and that *cough* street in NY are busybodies fer sure.
i wish the British and Americans had figured out they dun got tooken over.
Obama just nods and looks important - if he doesn't do what the script says - well....Dealey Plaza told them all what happens when you join but try acting on your own.
too late now though.
