I debated about posting this, and have only shared it with one other person here, but now I wish to share it with you guys, you see I have my own demon, a stalker, I am dealing with it, but it's not easy. Here is my own private hell.
Being in sports, and quarterback, my name is in the newspaper or was a lot, I think this is where it started.
A year ago I started getting gifts in the mail, no return address, no cards, just a box mailed form Rockford. The thing is a lot of mail here goes to Rockford to be sorted. The gifts started out small, like the first time it was a Bears penant, and Bears t-shirt., A week later I got a new Cd by Fleetwood Mac, which most people know as I did an interview once. 2 weeks after that I got a very expensive new leather jacket. Each time they got more expensive. We found out it was not my grandparents, or relatives. It would be unlike them to send things and not tell us.
The gifts kept coming, I got about 20 boxes of things so far, but things got weird ab out 6 months ago.
Before the typewritten notes just said "for Ryan, enjoy". The I got a box which had a bottle of Cologne in it, think it was Eternity, with a note that said "cool it with the girl".
Then, 2 weeks later another box, with inside it this time had a football jersey from the Bears and the note said "I have tried to be nice to you, but I am getting upset with you, all bad boys need punishment sometimes when they do not listen, you got a nice car, would not want to see it damaged"> At that point my mom called the Sheriffs Department, we now donate all the gifts which still come to a childrens home, and keep nothing. The notes are nasty now, the last one said "I saw your house, why the ADT sign and I see a camera, what are you afraid of Ryan? Be a good boy and you will be fine".
That was 2 weeks ago and so far nothing.
I go on with my life and do not worry, but whoever is doing this is spending a lot of money, and has the means to drive out here, we checked the video feeds and did not see anything unusual, but you can see one camera and do it at an angle where you cannot be seen, unless you pull in our drive and another camera hidden spots you.
Anyway this is what I mean about the stalker. They have removed all You Tube videos of me in sports, my high school was alerted as was NIU that any calls about me be checked, and so on. They have ruled out all my friends, relatives, girlfriend, and think this person doing this is older, has means to travel, and is financially pretty well off.
