My dreaded fingernail biting!!!

I have a dreaded fingernail biting habit. Had it since about age 5. I've tried everything to quit. So I believe all that's left is to try God. Please please pray over this. It's not your minor nail biting habit. It's very serious. It's awful. Please pray that this will end once and for all!
 
Lord you know his heart and mind...
give him the strenth to over-come this battle...
show him in his minds eye the steps he can take to over-come this habit.

Praying for you to be able to stop biting your nails. One way to get rid of one habit is to replace it with another one. Is there something else you can do when you feel the urge to chew your nails? Maybe like chew sugarless gum?
