Okay, I believe in God! But... my mom doesn't. She doesn't believe in God, or anything like that. She wont allow anybody in my family like my dad or my sisters to go to church, and she gets mad when i try to talk to her about it. I know that I need to talk to her about it, because if I don't, when she dies, she wont have a chance... but if I do get her to listen to me (which idk if I could get her to listen) then I might could get her to start believing in God again. When I was born, I had problems and my mom had problems... and we were not expected to live. But we did. So I know that we are here for a reason... or else we would have died. I think its my job to try to talk to my mom again, but she gets mad whenever I bring it up. I dont know what I should do. I mean, not trying to be dramatic or anything... but I really don't know what to do.

She doesnt need to you just believe it to be beneficial. That is entirely up to her however and it will only be beneficial if she believes to be so. The wonders of human psychology. We feel what we believe and believe what we feel how entirely silly is that :D

we can't make anyone accept Jesus however we can pray for their salvation and through our attitudes towards them hopefully get them convinced of the good change and come to believe. if she won't listen to u , she might listen from another person , or come to believe another way , how and when only God knows, just pray for her to have other opportunities . u shouldn't worry cause He doesn't want u to :)

Pray for her...
she might not listen to your words right now but let her see Christ living through you

This is excellent advice. The way you live your life in Christ will say much more than your words can right now. Study your Bible and be prepared when she has questions... she WILL have questions.

If she's getting mad at you for talking about Christ it isn't helping the situation any. Keep praying for her.

Are you able to attend Church and read the Bible at home?

Go gently with her and she may come around soon. We can't force someone to listen and the more we try to force them, the more they rebel.

Maybe you can bring into your everyday conversations, things that are going on at Church that may prompt her interest.

We'll be praying for you both :)

my friend has the same situation, but its kind of different because her mom is sick so she uses that as an excuse to keep my friend home. my friend literally sneaks out of the house to go to church

I'm not able to go to church, she wont allow it.. (I'm not trying to blame her for anything, sorry if its coming off like that) and I don't own a bible, but I do borrow my friend's bible, and whenever I am borrowing it I study it as much as possible.

I can relate to that... my mom isn't exactly healthy... but she is not on her death bed either. She just has a lot of different dieses that keeps her from being 100% okay. I don't sneak out of the house to go to church tho! :) Your friend and your friend's mom will be in my prayers.

Wow, this is such a reversal for me. It's hard to imagine a mom not letting her child go to church or own a Bible! I'm a mom who tries EXTREMELY HARD to get her children interested in reading the bible and going to Church.

Don't let anyone, even a parent, keep you away from Jesus!

Well, as long as I can remember, I have ALWAYS wanted to have a close relationship with God and come to know God, and without the help of my friends, I wouldn't be a Christian today. Honestly... I just came to start to honestly know God and honestly accept God at the begining of this year. I just became a true Christian this month, thanks to my friend. This is something I have wanted to do for litterally, my whole life. I wouldn't say that I am unfortunate for not having a parent who allows me to go to church or own a bible, because if my mom had not been trying to keep me from God, I would not be the person I am today and I'm pretty sure that knowing God would not be near as important to me as it is right now. I love my mom, and I'm praying for her everyday. Nothing... nothing at all.... nothing in this world will be able to keep me from Jesus.

Just pray for God's guidance. When you are ready to talk to her quote the word of God it has power to change. No one comes to the Lord unless they are led by the holy spirit.Keep praying after she hears the word leave the rest toGod.

I say explain that she has her opinion and you have yours, and if she won't let you go to church and have your beliefs then it is unfair for her to expect you to accept hers. Maybe come to an agreement that you both be allowed to believe what you want and then you can both carry on with your religious or non religious practices.

How are you Kaitie, May Jesus bless you.

I myself have 3 siblings that are wayward from the Lord.

In these times it is very crucial we demonstrate the life of Jesus Christ more than anything. And pray much.

May Jesus bless you. It takes much patience my friend. MUCH!!
