so I saw this forum and decided that I wanted to share my testimony, so I guess this is it:

I was raised in a christian family, I went to Holiday bible clubs, children's meetings and various Christian events, and that was my life for the next few years, after a few years I went to a summer camp, there was a leader there, the way he talked about God to the children, it was...mind blowing he actually had a relationship with God! not because he had to but because he wanted to, that night I wanted to give my lifer to God, but after thought I said to myself " you're young yet, God can wait", then a year or two later, My parents decided to get a caravan, those years at the caravan sight, I fell away from God didn't go to church, and turned my back on God, a year later my Father told my family that he was taking a job in New Zealand, so he went out first and we were to go out after a while, but after a few months, my mum told me that my father was having an affair with another woman and that he was divorcing her, when that happened I started blaming God for all my problems, this continued for a while, then my sister asked me to come with her to a christian event over the summer, called New Horizon, during that week there was a concert, that night I sang my heart out, I don't know why I just did, when I went home that night (very late :D) I cried myself to sleep, God had burdened me to accept him that night, and when I did I was so happy, ever since then (about a year ago) I have tried to serve God with everything I have but at times I have struggled but by the grace of God I'll get there :)

so there it is I guess :) thanks for taking the time to read this :)

I love reading people's testimonies because it encourages me and I see the work of God in individuals.
That was a wonderful testimony.
In our christian walk we will always have struggles. The important thing is to devote yourself to his word and prayer and keep your life away from the wrong things of this world.
May God bless you as you keep growing in him!!
:)

Thank you, as a young guy I found things hard :( but after that week it totally changed my life, now I'm not saying that I don't have my moments but I like to think I'm doing well :)

WOW Praise the Lord for that wonderful Testimony brother wow that so amazing

It's simple yet so grand. Your testimony lives on to remind those who've turned away from God that he wants you to come home to him, and that life does get better with him in it.
