That those of us who got our guy wouldn't be so quick to celebrate. That we would empathize with those who didn't get their girl or who simply didn't like our guy. It's a horrible feeling. I remember it well in 2012. A true man or woman of God should have a cup that is full to the brim with understanding and empathy for our fellow man. This is opportunity to show humility grace and compassion and to simply listen...to put on someone else's shoes.
 
I'm not telling my friends here at home that that is what I am doing. I'm just gonna do it. I'm not gonna argue with them. I may still argue a little here tho..,I need the outlet. Lol
 
Also can I encourage everyone to pray for the political leaders in which ever country they live in 1 Timothy 2 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— [SUP]2 [/SUP]for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
 
Obama is still in office. Though Trump won if Obama causes a major flase flag attack in america he can remain in office indefinitely & enforce martial law. So yes, this not a time for celebration people should remain close to the Lord and not put so much faith in world leaders

I think Trump’s opponents can relax a bit. His political adversaries wanted to make him look as bad as possible – that’s politics.

But what do they fear? They painted him as a racist, but I see little to support that. He thinks we should enforce our immigration laws. He thinks we should be vigilant about Muslim extremists. He once was accused of some racial housing thing with one of his properties. Does all this add up to racism?

They say he isn’t to be trusted with the nuclear bomb, but he has to talk a little tough so our enemies won’t take advantage of us. Does this make him crazy?
 
When Obama won re-election in 2012 I was disappointed because I really didn't like him as a president, but I didn't go around trash-talking about him to people...

I voted for him yet I still fear he is all that made me taste bile as I pushed that button. Not that hard to figure out. My hope remains in God, because it's sure not in the USA anymore.
 
When Harper and the Conservatives lost last year, despite a sparkling record of keeping our country from being damaged by the recession, Liberals were dancing in the streets, and mocking Conservatives to death.

I didn't go out and riot. I didn't threaten to have the vote overturned somehow. I didn't take the MSM to court for pushing a bouncer/snowboard instructor as a good choice to lead our country. And neither did any other Conservatives I know.

I guess I need to go back to FB and somehow be conciliatory to all the raving mad Democrats I have (had?) as friends. Sirk, you have a good point, but at this point, it is the sore losers that are causing the problems, not the Trump people. Is there a Scripture that covers this? Besides, I am not even American!!! LOL
 
It is not my educated Christian friends that are causing the problem, most of whom did not support Hillary or Trump. It is the atheist, new age, left wing people that I pray for and witness to that one day they will know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. I guess that alone is reason enough not to be inflammatory, and find ways to reach out and love them, anyway!

Trump is an unknown quantity, but anybody who would force girls to shower with boys at school, is about as bad as bad gets, and that's who Hillary is.
 
I just want to move on and see what Trump will do after all he was a Democrat for quite a few years. The thing I can't tolerate is the bigotry and some of his views of women as objects, but I am willing to give him a chance to write on the clean white page he has starting January 20th.

I believe people should be treated with respect all people....

Yes, there is a scripture that fits that need. It really yanks at my lack-of-patience all the time. "Love thy enemies.":p

Well, except they are not my enemies, since I am Canadian. But it isn't the conservatives that are showing hate. It is the Democrats, who think that posting how Trump hates, makes them not haters! Very confusing!

one of the most difficult things to accept in this fallen world is that 'satan' has been given rule here,
and his purposes will be done on this earth as Jesus allows, for His own reasons...this has been one
of the most difficult things that hubby and I have had to accept, but accept it we have, because of what
we have experienced and witnessed...ugly is putting it mildly, and unfortunately most are living
in their own created fantasies, in order to evade His Truths, created by what has been put into their
brains/hearts beginning at such a young age...

facing the horrific facts of this world takes quite a bit of accepting Christ's Love and Truth and Trust into
our hearts and accepting the reality of what we are truly witnessing from the top all the way down
to the bottom of the story that the Bible teaches us...not pretty!!! yet, Christ's glory will prevail and
all will be made well in His Time...mean-while, we must come out of this wicked world and accept
what our Bible teaches and tells us will be...there simply is no other choice, but to believe in
His Word and Prophecies - everything else are lies and counterfeit deceits...
