Finding salvation requires more concentrated effort than most people are willing to put forth. Obviously, we cannot save ourselves-there is no way we can work ourselves into God's favor. The effort we must put out "to enter the narrow door" is earnestly desiring to know Jesus and diligently striving to follow him whatever the cost. We dare not put off making this decision because the door will not stay open forever.

“Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, for many will try to enter but will fail. When the master of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. You will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Lord, open the door for us!’ But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ - (Luke 13:24-25 NLT)

yes what do you do when you see others straying from the narrow path?

Should you shout a warning or let them sing tunes and entice others to follow their delusions?

These are the instructions 4 all christians. The bible also speaks about the answer to the question you ask. This post is not about that question. But if you care to share that answer why don't you?

This scripture is talking about the same thing that Matt 7:13-14 is. Both the wide gate and the strait gate are gates that all of God's children go into. Those that go in the wide gate are those that believe in a false doctrine, mainly eternal salvation by their good works. The destruction they experience is not having a close relationship with God. Those that inter in the strait gate are those of God's children that have been revealed the truth of Christ's doctrine.
