Some have claimed these tetrad cycles are rare, and they claim NASA as a source for such assertions. Once they "establish" this "fact", they then assert the "rarity" as a sign of significance in relation to future Bible prophecy. From that point they then give many theories concerning what is to come regarding Israel, and other issues related to Bible prophecy.

Unfortunately for our friendly rare tetrad based prophetic speculators, the very premise of all of their speculating is false.

Tetrads are not rare.
 
Instead of tracking moon cycles, track your life for any sin you need to repent of.
Ask God to track the things in your heart that need to be brought into submission to him.

Psalm 139
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts![c]
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting![d]

Tetrad's are not rare, I agree....

What is rare are the dates and events of the tetrad's... Only 7 have been on Jewish Holidays in the past 2,000 years... All 7 tetrads on Jewish Holidays occurred during extremely important years. Such as the rebirth of the nation Israel...

What is also rare, is there will not be another tetrad on Jewish Holiday's for another 200 years...


I think chapters like Luke 21 are extremely enlightening on subjects like this... We are not simply saying that the blood moons mean the end times... We are saying all the signs are pointing in the direction, that His return is very soon.

Israel is surrounded by armies...
Egypt and Syria have gone into revolutions (predicted in revelations).
Next will be Turkey (in a more public light then what is now happening).
The constellation virgo will have 12 stars in her head, the sun at her head the moon at her feet. Then Jupiter the King planet will enter what is considered the womb of Virgo for 9 months...
The plausible arrival of planet X...
Global economic crash is likely to happen September 2015...
And Ect....

You have the cross breading and genetic modifications of almost every domestic animal used for consumption...
Nearly all our produce is genetically modified.

By no means is anyone saying the moons alone predict that Jesus will return... We are saying all the prophecies are lining up for His return... We watch and wait for His return...

(edit: and I don't think I have to mention how anti-christian the world is...)

There is an often repeated verse in the bible...

Fear not. The blood moon was interesting, even pretty, but nothing happened.

There are ALWAYS signs...always something to fear.

Ya shoulda lived back in the seventies...lol.
 
If you study the blood moons from every other time... It does not happen on the exact date of the blood moon but within a 2 year span....

"I am thankful for Christian friends who can tell the difference between a lunar eclipse and an eschatological sign."
 
Hmmmm 8 sets of tetrads in the 21st century ( a 100 year period) and there were none anywhere on earth in a 300 year period (1600-1900). While I think we need more data to draw a conclusion either way about just how rare or not tetrads (or even single total eclipses) are, I think they have suddenly become a whole lot more common for the near future than they have in recent history.

Now to fuel the other side of the debate, if we're talking about signs for Israel, why does anyone think that these blood moons visible primarily in the USA would qualify? They probably weren't even visible in Israel. Shouldn't a heavenly sign about the nation of Israel be visible to the people there?

you are right, only the fourth blood moon in sept. 2015 will be visible to Jerusalem/Israel.That's the one that 'interests' me.
