I am in a predicament where I have volunteers where I work and I am in charge of them and there is one that I have really tried to be of help to but I think things are just to a point I am going to have to let him go. I discovered this young man took some magazines and so I called him at home and he tells me "let me go look and I'll call you back." Well, as it turned out he had the magazines( as I knew he did because I saw him with them).
It's hard for me to know what to do because he has some medical issues but it is getting to the point where those are starting to outweigh the good in the productivity level. Does anybody have any thoughts and would y'all help me pray what to do? I would appreciate your input :D

He has issue with telling the truth and probably didnt want to be punished if he said outright that he had the magazines!!

Continue to show him love and treat him like everyone else, you may be the only one to ever give him a chance to be productive, keep telling him how much you value his committment and involvement to your team. All the while give him to God and ask the Lord to deliver him from lying and any other issues which hinder his productivity to your team.

Its obvious you saw something in him from the start otherwise you wouldnt have put in so much time helping him from the start.I say continue to help him,but do it in a way that inspires him to be independant and not be too reliant upon you.

The Lord may be stretching you by getting you to experience working with certain more difficult induviduals, but dnt panic!!He has the NEXT STEP in mind ALWAYS...see this experiences as a way of learning and gaining more wisdom and understanding for your next level :-)

I dont know if I have said anything, but I hope something I said has helped lol

I really appreciate your insight. I am so up "close and personal" to the situation that it's hard for me to have adequate perspective, I guess. lol. Thnks, happywithhim for your time & thoughts, it was helpful :o)
