wouldn’t be nice to never grow old?
to have not a care in this world
to be care free and live happily
wouldn’t be nice to be just be who you are
to not care whether you live or die
i wish i never grew old
and let not happiness slip through my fingers
i wish to never have experience rejection
so i can trust fully
and love wholeheartedly
i wish to never have seen the world out of this cocoon
so i never have to compare what i could have but doesn’t have
no more sleepless nights
no more heartaches
no longer fearing that moment they will also abandon me
never never land
they say foolish are those who doesn’t wish to grow old
but if i have only known that i’ll have these scars and bruises on my own
i wish i never left never never land
