There are nights, I lay crying.
The world has pushed too much, and I'm caving.
I read your word and even though I'm the one drifting,
you seem so far away to me.
Hold me tight, surround me with your love.
I'm holding on to hope and faith,
that through it all I'll see your face someday.

Faith is all I have now, it keeps me going,
I can't see you, but I know you're there.
I get so close to giving up, but I grasp hope,
and you LORD pick me up in your arms
you protect me and lead me and I know,
by your unfailing love and sweet grace
I have a place in this world, that's worth holding on to.

I've said it once, twice, a million times,
and I'll keep saying it every day.
I love you LORD, and I want to be yours...
...on my good days and the bad,
take me, plant me, mold me,
and use me in every way possible
to help your cause!

I want to shine through my pain,
to feel the joy, even when my heart weeps.
I don't want to be a hypocrite,
I stumble and sin, because I am human,
but by your amazing grace I am blessed enough,
to show others that even when I have troubles,
with you I can still see the light, of hope shining on.

I wrote this poem...for this thing at church....the theme was that Jesus was sweet...and the verse we used was...
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Pslams 34:8

Barefoot, walking through the snow
He continues along with no place to go
He tries his best to recall his last meal
But has trouble remembering how a full stomach feels
He winces with pain when the freezing wind bites,
As he walks slowly on, on this cold Christmas night
He passes by the houses that are lined down the streets
And imagines the hearts that are warmed by love's heat
Wishing that somehow he too could go in
As the snow lays claim to his bare, freezing skin
He tries not to think about the pain inside
When he knocks at a house, just to hear another lie
"There's no room" they say, like the others said before
And the man is left standing outside the front door
Reminding him of a time, that night in Bethlehem
When on the first Christmas there was no room found for him
Rejected and alone, with thoughts of the many years ago
Jesus looks up at the front of the door, sighing deep and slow
No place to call home and he wonders the reason
for the lights on the door spell out "Remember the season"

Very nice, Grimgrower. I love it. Reminds me of a country artist by the name of Collin Raye. He sings a song called What If Jesus Comes Back Like That. The same idea as what you wrote. Very thought provoking. Great job.

When we look back at those before us who trod this road,
when we remember their cares and heavy load,
we know that for them it was not an easy journey,
but they remain shining examples for us to see.
God was always there beside them,
and he remain there until their end.
Whatever trials they faced,
their faith in God was never erased.
They kept standing still,
and doing God's will,
trusting God to lead them through,
and to their strength renew.
Now they have long since been gone,
but their influence still live on.
We can choose to follow after them,
or live lives in the end to be condemn.

.hmmessage P { margin:0px; padding:0px } body.hmmessage { font-size: 10pt; font-family:Verdana } This life will never be what we expect it to be,
so its left to us now to face reality.
The least we can is make the effort to try,
and do our best to get by.
Where we were yesterday,
is not where we should today stay.
We should not allow all that have gone wrong,
to keep us down,
rather we should aim to rise above whatever,
and keep on striving in our hearts to prosper.
Oftentimes you may feel as if life have move on without you,
and you're still here wondering what to do.
You may feel as if others have already reach the top,
while you're here still climbing up,
but its not for you to measure your life by their standard,
but to keep moving forward.
If there is a reason why you can't do something,
don't let it be because someone tells you that you cannot win.
If they can reach this far a distance,
then you can be sure that you as well stand a chance.

Weakness is power!,Said the man ,with the nail scared hands, and the cours riffed brow, from the crown upon his head stands tall.
for in this ,the final hour, which we stand,in the running sands, and upon the tower, wear the armor of the word standing on the wall!
Watch my friends
Watch for this end.
See that Gods word is true.
a message He sends
a means to an end
redemption for me and you
in this shelter warm and Somber, left to ponder, the passages of the spirit broken through
repose like a feather,a simple reminder,of how my burdon was broken into.
