I just joined and trying to “find my feet”!
I would welcome any girls around my age to reach out and give me any tips about being a good Christian in these confusing and upsetting times. Bless you all. Chelsea.

Hi! The past year has been a bit crazy and I believe I can speak for a lot of people out there. For me personally one thing that has really helped me to deepen my faith is truly recognizing the fact that Jesus is all about relationship over religion. Now religion is important to build good habits and such but going through the motions isn't going to magically deepen your faith.
For me this has looked like taking time to just talk to Jesus about my day - casual, and constant prayer.
Not all days look the same but that's how relationships are. The more I have leaned into understanding who Jesus really is the more I see His perfect and loving character. Jesus died for your sins and fully took on the judgement that should have been placed on YOU and me and everyone else. The only thing that separates us from God is our decision to choose the sin He died for instead of choosing Him.
Does this mean you will be perfect? NEVER, but taking time to be intentional about your relationship with God, how you pray, and what you are putting into your mind is a perfect place to start.
God works in everyone in unique and personal ways and it is really exciting to see. Just don't let the hard days discourage you to the point of holding you back. Jesus died so we could live in relationship with Him freely, not under the captivated of our mind or the lies from the enemy.
