No Perfect Man-Nelson Mandela

Today we celebrate the life of the legend called Nelson Mandela because of his act of forgiveness. Nelson Mandela was a man who knew and recognized the fact that there exists No Perfect Man or Human Being on Earth; and that all of us make mistakes or errors. This became part and parcel of him that is forgiveness became part and parcel of him. Because of his single act of reconciliation among the people of South Africa, a whole nation was saved. Reconciliation cannot take place when there is no forgiveness. Forgiveness is the key to reconciliation. Nelson Mandela was a man who knew the virtue of forgiveness and he stood for it and lived in it.

Today we celebrate him as a great man and as a legend but we have refused to recognize and live in what makes him a great man and a legend that is “FORGIVENESS”. Nelson Mandela is celebrated as a great man and a legend because of Forgiveness. Despite the homicide and all sorts of evil that took place during the apartheid in South Africa, these didn’t stop him from forgiving all those who were involved and who supported such evil. He forgave them all because he knew the virtue of forgiveness.

Do you know the virtue of forgiveness? We celebrate the legend Nelson Mandela but we do not know and we do not live in what makes him a legend. He was a man of forgiveness.

Listen to what the LORD says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD”. This clearly teaches and shows us that we are all sinners and there is no perfect person on earth because all of us are sinners. Since we are all sinners, we must forgive one another. Nelson Mandela knew this and he acted on it.

Anyone who refuses to forgive makes himself a perfect person; and if you make yourself a perfect person, it means you can do all things and you compare yourself with GOD that is you make yourself equal to GOD because GOD is the only perfect one.

When we refuse to forgive one another or those who have hurt us or sinned against us, we make ourselves perfect that is equal to GOD. When we make ourselves perfect then we compare ourselves with GOD who is the Alpha and the Omega, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Creator of you and I, the Creator of all things; HE will leave us alone. This is a disaster. When GOD leaves us alone then we are finished because the devil will destroy us totally. The devil will not waste time to carry out his only mission on earth which is to steal, kill and destroy our lives.

My dear parents, sisters, brothers and friends; no human being on earth is perfect because no human being keeps GOD commandments at all times and in all situation since he/she was born. We are all sinners and we must forgive one another so that our own sins will also be forgiven by the Perfect One who is the LORD GOD AMIGHTY. The LORD says, “Forgive those who sin against you so that your own sins will also be forgiven by your Heavenly Father”.

My dear, look at what forgiveness brought to Nelson Mandela and the whole nation South Africa. When you forgive, it will bring you joy, happiness, peace, prosperity and to your family also. Above all your own sins or wrong deeds will be forgiven by the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.
Remember forgiveness is for your own good and welfare.

GOD is the only perfect one and we all are imperfect, so we must forgive one another. GOD loves you. Thank you LORD GOD ALMIGHTY for your forgiveness. Thank you JESUS for being our LORD and SAVIOR. Stay blessed.
Thanks.
