Not every Pharisee and Sadducee was deceived!!
No. Some believed in Jesus, some even believed he was the Messiah. However, many of them were too afraid of the established religion of that day to agree with him in public, lest they should be expelled from the synagogue. Even seeing the wonders and miracles, because of the hardness of their hearts in hatred, they would not believe.
I thank the Lord for this revelation. Because not every Catholic is deceived. Not every Protestant is deceived. Not every Christian is deceived. Not every Methodist is deceived. The Lord has a remnant who has not bowed the knee!!!
Now I am free to be gentle and kind and RESPECTFUL! The Lord is looking for fruit, not for doctrine. He is looking for the will of God, not the will of man. And how can we deviate from Jesus Christ by doctrine knowing that in him is the fullness of the will of God. And if we keep this gospel of JESUS CHRIST FIRST AND FOREMOST, then I can tell where the fruit is coming from, whether fruit to death or eternal life.
May Jesus bless you.
