Over and over in scripture God proclaims, "...Then they will know that I am the Lord." In the book of Ezekial alone there are many references to this: Ezekial 6:14; Ezekial 7:27; Ezekial 12:16; Ezekial 25:11 and 17; Ezekial 26:6; Ezekial 28:26; Ezekial 29:9 and 21; Ezekial 30: 8, 25 and 26; Ezekial 32:15; Ezekial 33:29; Ezekial 35:15; Ezekial 36:38; Ezekial 38:23; Ezekial 39:28. In this age of Grace, we are given the opportunity to "know" God now. We (our generation and those to come) either decide/choose willingly to get to know Him now or we will know Him later when the manifestation or appearance or display of His holy wrath and judgement comes upon the earth. Here is a quote from a veteran in the faith who is with the Lord, "God's wrath is not like a child's temper tantrum or punishment meted out by an impatient parent. God's wrath is the evidence of His holy love for all that is right and His holy hatred for all that is evil." -Warren Wiersbe

When this age of Grace...when, "It is finished", it will be too late to escape God's holy wrath and judgement. Neither kings, captains, slaves, the rich or the poor will be able to escape it. No one. My earnest prayer is that you will get to "know" Him now.

Lord, open ears, hearts and eyes to Your truth. Draw many through Your merciful and loving nature in this present age. And may your warnings be taken seriously. Thank you Jesus.

Let me add another hearty Amen to your post. I just posted in another thread that Christians should concern themselves with reaching as many souls as possible with the message of the Gospel.

Something like make disciples of all nations seems appropriate
