??anyone can take a sound bit and add things to it. I would trust it more if we got to hear the whole message in context and what he said after that comment instead of what the commentary has taken offense to. Now the question I would like to know is why did Jesus tell His disciples to buy a sword if so many say that we are to be so peaceful?

Luke 22:36
Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.

too often people do not read the whole Bible or listen to a person's whole message.

Paul wrote we should be shod with the "gospel of peace" not that we go out in the world in peace.
