Obama's latest attack on our school children pushing gay agenda

The president of the Catholic League is questioning why President Obama would select Kevin Jennings, known as a "Christian basher" in addition to his homosexual activism, to instruct public school children on "moral matters."

"gay agenda" ^_^ and what agenda is that? The homosexuals certainly aren't telling you not to be straight.

Your statement implies you approve of them. But we are commanded to be Christ-like and Christ
would never approve of them.

Its not about what they are or are not telling me. They are telling millions of kids at school about
their agenda without asking parental consent.

In any event, what they are saying is against Christ teachings so I can not approve. I don't
understand how someone can call their self a Christian and defend in any way an abomination
to God.

In many schools it is now part of the first grade teachings. I have had alot of middle and high school kids tell me that the promotion of homosexuality in school has caused alot of confusion and pain. Most have ended up with expeariances that have left them hurt and angry. They all were taught it is a choice when in truth it wasnt. So many end up regreting their actions. Our schools are supposed to teach what is needed. Not promote one or anothers agenda.

I don't know all the details but from what I hear, kids are being told that they can choose their gender. They can choose to be male or female and that Kevin Jennings is pushing to keep any parent from interfering in the senate. I would classify that as a "gay agenda" and though they are not telling you explicitly to be gay they are confusing the kids so that they will choose to be gay.

At the risk of sounding insensitive, I am glad that there are kids who feel that way. It gives (me) hope that things can change for the better.

It is amazing how many Christians will let this go or their statements are a form of approval.

Christ said its wrong. What else is there to discuss?

No ones rights matter. Rights are a man made concept. Not God's. God grants you only one
right - Heaven or hell?

Most Christians need to learn Who their God is, what He stands for and know they are God's
feet and hands till Christ returns. Too many are afraid of offending. Christ said you are
either for Me or against Me. Seems many Christians say what they think based on worldly
views applied to God's Word when there should not be a worldly view, just God's view.

The sad thing is, how many thousands of kids lives must be messed up before they stop?

It does seem that an unfair policy claim could be made. It isn't fair that we can't just walk
into a school and tell kids not to be homosexual but they can. Its an unfair balance of
power under policy. It allows one group to dominate another. This is unfair under our
constitution.

If they have their day to tell them to be homosexuals, we should as an opposing view
have our day. But it would need to be our view. If we do it as Christians, they won't let
it happen.

you can tell a child anything you want, except that God is real, then everyone comes screaming about freedom of choice....
I'd be more worried about the anti-christian part than the pro- gay one if I were you... most non- Christians I know think any talk/ teaching about religion at school should be banned

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of...

"You've tried therapy, counselling, blue pills, red pills, pills that look like UFO's, friends, family, and yourself. You're broken, you're still hurting, and you're probably ready to give up. What have you got to lose to try God's way?"

When I was in high school many of us felt the same way when it came to the teachings on birth controll. We felt that since planned parenthood was allowed to give their view and advise, that groups representing abstanence and adoption should be able to teach also. We lost this one. The only true free speech is the one that is in controll.
