When we stay in the word we become strong against the enemy. When we obey God and know his word anything of the world becomes not important to us. When you become true to Gods word his true light will begin to shine in you.

Luke 11:28 28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.

Staying in the word builds our faith and our strength, without either we could not fight the enemy.

Romans 10:17 tells us - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
