Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

When my great uncle lay dying I went to visit him. When I arrived, I found an old pastor I'd long loved and admired rocking my cousin's baby girl, who was sprawled all over his lap, sound asleep...not a care in the world. :) I said, "Wow...I wish I could sleep like that." He just looked up at me with those twinkling, wise old eyes, smiled and said, "You CAN you know."

He was right. We sure can. :)

If anything is stealing your peace, rest, joy...give it to God. Peace, be still, child of God.

Thanks Julliana, that is a good reminder.

That makes me remeber too that part that says that we have to be like little children to enter the kingdom of Heaven, that make me wish to go and learn how children live, how they sleep and how they love. :)
