A war hero is now in heaven with our Savior.

Robert Janes, F Co. 2/506 Parachute Infantry Regiment, and soldier in the Army of the Lord of Hosts.

Please pray for his wife, Nadine.

We mourn our loss, but rejoice in your gain, dear Brother!

Hi

I am an avid fan of Band of Brothers HBO series (watched several times). I also read the book written by the late Stephen Ambrose. The book, however, focus on Easy Company. I believe the show/book honors every paratroopers who fought in WW2.

God bless Robert Janes. :) And may God bless his wife, Nadine with good health and peace in her heart.

Watching the TV series and reading the book inspired me to write my first novel, A Soldier's Betrayal, promoting honor, courage and inspiration.

I've always wanted to watch Band of Brothers, but I don't have cable and they didn't have it on Netflix. I do have a deep respect for combat vets, especially WWII vets. My mom's stepfather was a US Marine in WWII and he just passed away last year. He was a very nice and humble gentleman. God bless Mr. Janes for his service and sacrifice, and God bless and comfort Mrs. Janes in this difficult time.

God bless.

I truly believe that we should include all service men and women, past, present and future, in our prayers every day. Pray that God will keep them all safe from harm and give them the courage and strength to carry out their mission(s), wherever that might be.

But most of all, pray that God will bless them all with a warm welcome home when they return from their tours of duty.

God bless.
