Thanks Jilly, but these guys are just friends. Nothing more.. But then again, you probably don't believe me..
By the way Jilly, i've prayed continually to God, to take it away, but he wouldn't.. So i'd just live with it i guess, it's not as bad as it sounds. When you actually don't act on these feelings.. Nothing wrong in being single..

Bye..

Okay, Tobby; I see what you mean now. When I saw the post you made in the Great Expectations thread after I posted my first message in this thread, I thought that you were saying that you felt guilty because you'd acted out on the feelings you were having. In the post I quoted above, you say that you aren't acting out on those feelings, and I believe you. What I originally said came across a bit rough, I think. I apologize that it was a little harsh. I certainly don't blame you for this, and it sure sounds like you've been praying very hard to be delivered from these thoughts. I'll keep praying also. Again, I misunderstood the exact trouble you were having.
I agree that there's nothing wrong with being single. I enjoy it most of the time, and tolerate it all of the time. I have Someone who loves me more than any man does or ever will, even if I do get married some day. I would also like to say that I've heard of people being delivered from homosexual urges, yet didn't really have feelings for the opposite gender, and there's nothing wrong with that either. Please don't give up, my friend.

Tobby I think these people already gave you awesome advice, so I wont add anything. I'll just say, I'll be praying for you and cast all your worries to God! may God bless you :)

Wow, Tobby, I didn't know. I saw your one comment where you said you didn't like girls but thought you were joking. I grew up with Nigerian parents, so I know how they can be about anything they don't approve of... overly dramatic. If it was up to me, I'd say take your mom out somewhere she enjoys and tell her there. She can't fall apart in front of everyone :) Besides, it will feel worse and worse the longer you keep it a secret. When your parents know, all they can do is get angry (and maybe some threats from your dad as his pride and reputation may be hurt more than anything else), but it will definitely blow over. I kind of skimmed everyone's comment to see the last one. I agree with Ritter (and probably everyone else in general). But you know your parents best, so you know best when and how to come out to them. Good luck, my friend.
