It's so important to your childs heart to look into their beautiful eyes and tell them you love them, give them hugs, kisses, hold their hands and show much affection daily. Children carry those precious memories with them within their hearts through out their entire life that will help minister to their soul. JESUS has given you the power to help heal, comfort and protect their hearts in this way, raise them up in the love and ways of JESUS (His heart/perfect law) while you can and they shall not depart.
Jesus defends children, He is their voice. There's nothing more beautiful than a parent seeking Gods counsel on how they can become better parents.
If you aren't laying your life down for your children then you aren't caring/loving their souls and you aren't loving them with Gods love and you need to repent. Jesus commands all parents to lay their lives down for their children, ask Jesus to teach you how to love your children with HIS selfLESS Love.
If you LOVE your spouse and children (as MOST of the world claims to) then you would be LOVING and CARING for their souls.
When you see your child for the first time of the day are you demanding them to do chores or are you taking the time to greet them with a smile, asking them how they are, giving them a hug and telling them how much you love them? Children weren't sent to you to just do house work and to take out the trash daily, children want and need to be loved by you, they need you to spend time with them if you are able (i realize some parents aren't able to be with their children for whatever reasons).
If your child accidentally drops a dish, are you making them feel bad by screaming at them or are you gently reassuring them that it was an accident and that it's not a big deal? "Little things" like this matter to a child's heart.
If your sink is full of dirty dishes but your daughter comes home and she's clearly upset about something, do you... keep washing the dishes...or put down the dishrag and give her your full undivided attention?
Children are not stupid, they are very aware of their surroundings.
Are you taking the time to ask how their heart is feeling? Are you thinking about what THEY'RE needs are before your own?
Do your children ever see you smile and laugh?? Are you playing with them and teaching them to remain a child at heart in this way or are you encouraging them to "grow up" and not giving them the freedom to slide across the kitchen floor in their socks?
When you come home from a long day of work, are you taking the time to sit with your child and ask how their day went? Children have real heart issues that need to be handled with care too, just because they aren't working all day doesn't mean they aren't going through something themselves. Children need you to be patient with them and long suffering because that is love.
It's insane when parents think that they can buy their children's love/happiness by simply throwing toys at them when they are upset hoping they'll leave you alone, what they really need is your love and attention. Sometimes kids just want to be listened to, held and acknowledged, that in itself would have helped my heart IMMENSELY as a child.
Your children need encouragement, they need praises from you, they need to hear how they touch your heart and what they mean to you. have you told your children what they mean to you? Children desperately need your love, parents who don't show affection to their children are damaging their hearts, they need your affection even if its a smile, a hug with an "i love you", or a kiss. Children need to know that they are not an obligation nor are in the way of your living, children need to be embraced with your love. Children need extra reassurance if you are having marital problems or if you are having a bad day, they need to know that it's NOT their fault, are you expressing your love to them in some form even in hard trials?
JESUS desires to teach you how to love your children, each child's heart is unique, are you taking the time to get to know your children??
Your children are precious gifts from Jesus, are you worthy of them? Your kids want to be acknowledged and loved by you.
Being your child's sport coach and making your child live out your foolish dreams in doing so is not love. Children aren't trophies man!! Children are living souls who need real love and nurturing.
Jesus has taught me to never chastise a child because they ask many questions but rather continue to ENCOURAGE children to seek TRUTH in all things.
If your child is having a hard time understanding something, whether it be an activity or how to do something at home or what not, don't talk down to them as though they are an obligation to you, and stupid but rather, be patient, kind and loving with them, and encouraging them. Always remember to admit when you yourself have messed up, they are watching how you respond to situations. It's important for parents to know that the way that you talk to your children and interact with them will effect how they see themselves. Ask Jesus how you can better love your children with His love and He will answer you. I understand that there are parents who cannot even see/talk with their children, when I post about giving parenting advise, I am talking about the ones who are able to interact/be with their children. Jesus cares for all you're going through, He loves you and your children with all of His heart.

You will have to face Jesus and explain to Him WHY you neglected your children and your role as parent. Jesus is not leading parents to seek after a vain, wicked career.
Every time I hear of a local beauty pageant for girls Jesus gets soooo upset! Me too, I totally understand why He's angry, the devil is teaching this world to judge a persons worth by their appearance and worldly "successes", but true beauty manifests within and through those who Love and obey Jesus. A pure heart is sooo BEAUTIFUL!
JESUS HATES it when parents mock their children and online for the whole world to see just to gain a laugh, I have seen this many times, when a parent and teen go back and forth "joking" on each others pages, but the jokes aren't funny, they are belittling one another and you're tearing down your child's spirit, shame on you, you are teaching your child to act like the devil by your own immature behavior, you need to repent. Its not funny to put your children down and in front of others, point the finger at yourself, the "joke" is on you because you actually have a serious problem. Shame on you.
Parents, you can learn so many valuable lessons of love from your children if you will listen when their hearts speak. JESUS will use children to humble their disobedient parents.
I remember a commercial I saw when I was a child, there was a father in the commercial getting onto his son for smoking weed, and as he's yelling at his son and asking him why he would do such a thing, the camera zooms in on the boys face as he says, "I learned it by watching you!" This is exactly what you're seeing in this world, children are learning the evil and destructive ways THROUGH the behavior of their own parents.
If you're a single working parent who has been "divorced" from your covenant spouse and you find your calendar all filled up with wicked events such as girls/mens night outs, and you spend more time with a significant other than you do with your own kids then shame on you, you will answer to Jesus for neglecting your childrens hearts. If you and your spouse married each other, both never having been married before then he/she is NOT your ex-wife/ex-husband, you are STILL married to him/her till death do you part and unless you repent of your wicked living then you will surely die in your sins.
It is JESUS' will that parents train their children up His ways daily. Jesus is not telling parents to drop off their children to complete strangers who teach their children in the ways of the world and He is not assigning curriculum that does not teach TRUTH (JESUS). Strangers are those who do not have the Holy Spirit living in them, they do not know, love, and obey Jesus. This is speaking of the public school system and also of the school programs who claim to be of christian curriculum. Beware of lukewarm christian curriculum programs that are available for homeschooling families, as most continue to teach doctrines of man, mans traditions and they teach of celebrating pagan holidays. Ask JESUS for discernment in all things. Jesus' people allow Him to teach their children daily, not just Monday-Friday, but everyday. Jesus is the teacher of life, He is disciplining His children's souls that they may be ready to meet Him. The only grades and reports that truly matter to Jesus Christ are the motives of the heart. His disciples must remain obedient, faithful, and endure the very end.
Your children need to know that you care/love their hearts/souls. Have you told them about Jesus? Are you teaching them about His love and keeping His commands? JESUS and my heart is breaking for the youth of this wicked and perverse generation. He shares His heart with me constantly and soo deeply about how children are being made to carry so many burdens that HE never intended for their precious hearts to encounter. Our heart goes out to the children that have to witness such wickedness and sin that's introduced by the adults who are suppose to be the protectors of their hearts. I personally have come across MANY young children from the of ages 12-17 who saw some of my youtube testimonies videos and have emailed me because they are scared, hurting and tormented inside as they feel they have no one who will take the time to listen to their hearts, most are depressed and some have turned to self harm, and even contemplating suicide. My heart weeps for them, I just want to reach out and hug them as though they were my own child and introduce them to JESUS' love. Children are so precious to JESUS! My Gods heart is breaking at how most are continuing to parent their children in such destructive ways that lead to more pain, confusion and heartache because they lack going to JESUS for His perfect counsel. I have noticed a drastic change in youth in just the last 2 yrs, it is getting SO DARK, we are the last generation, seek the LORD and get right with Him while there's time. Please, learn from my testimony, I am the parent with MUCH regret who made my children go through unnecessary fires all because I was living a selfish and rebellious life against my God, I repented several years ago and I'm pleading with you out of the depth of my heart to do the same, you and your children NEED JESUS, place your trust in JESUS, allow Him to parent YOU and counsel you in the fullness of His love that you may also parent your children in His ways. I grew up without of all this and even though I am twenty five I find myself longing for the things I grew up without, what I wouldn't have given to have grown up with a loving caring parent who instead of telling me what I can't do would give me the confidence to go for the stars knowing that if I fell they would be there to catch me to know that i mattered to have them actually care and listen to my problems and struggles to not just keep doing dishes when I was in need and in an emotional wreck.
