remember how my mum your mom/mum and dad grew up with strange words ie 'ho' attach this to words and it had no sense like : jolly - ho
and how they always had the same usual common names like jenny , jonny and sally in literature i remember as a young girl in the 90s AHEM might I add learning piano with these old piano lesson books and seeing these strange words like 'skip to merry ho' i m.thinking what? Our parents had some pretty unsual sayings back then but our parents rock period.
 
My mom used to say "great day in the morning" and I never understood where that came from.

yuup haha . my grandad says 'wacko' (not a crazy person )it means cool?? i guess
 
oh man brings back memories... "gag me with a spoon"...or using the word "boss" as a synonym for Cool
