I love it when children say something so beautiful and profound, that it gives you a glimpse of the kingdom of God.

I hope this thread is an uplifting experience for all who read it.

I'll get the ball rolling:

My five-year-old, while eating a snack says, "Mommy, I've thought about it. I'm not blessed. I am very very blessed. And it is a blessing to be very blessed."

My son, when he was young was tying to pick his nose in church. My wife kept pulling his hand away from his nose. Finally, he stood up, put his hands on his hips and declared. "Mom, I am not eating it. I'm wiping it on my shirt."

Yes, I hear you.
My 5-yr-old asked me, "Mommy, how old do I have to be to get married?"

I responded, "Well, you should always wait on the Lord and first finish college."

My 9-yr-old agreed saying, "Yeah, you need to be like 12 years old for that."

My other son said this to me one day: Daddy, if you go to heaven, I want to go with you and if you go to hell, I'll go with you there too.

It made me realize how much responsibility I have...

At a visitation of a family friend, Jim, my four-year-old gently put his arm around his teary-eyed wife and said, "You don't need to cry. Jim is with the King."

When my daughter misscarriage, her son, seeing her cry, came up, hugged her, and said, "Don't worry mommy. Jesus will give him back."

After dinner today, I heard my 10-yr-old arguing with my 8-yr-old.
Upon investigating:

10-yr-old, "Mom, I don't want this $1; I cannot buy Legos with this."

Mom, "Why are you giving him money?"

8-yr-old, "Mommy, I have too much money, so I wanted to give him a dollar."

Mom, "How much do you have?"

8-yr-old, "I have $14, and $13 is the limit. I have enough already."

-------------------------------Conclusion-----------------------------------
Mom, "Take the dollar back, and the best way to get rid of money is to donate it to the church, okay?"

8-yr-old, "Okay. Mommy, what's donate?"
