Out Of This World Peanut Butter Cookies
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter (Crunchy if you are feelin' adventurous )
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 Tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Set aside an extra Tablespoon of sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowel, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and the salt.Set aside.
In another large bowel, beat the butter, and peanut butter together until fluffy.Add the sugars and beat until smooth. Add the egg and mix well. Then add the vanilla extract and milk. Now add the flour mixture and mix well. After well mixed add the peanut butter and chocolate chips.
Drop spoonfuls (The size? Your choice ) of the mixture onto an un-greased cookie sheet leaving several inches between for expansion. You may have to use multiple cookie sheets.Using a fork, lightly press a criss-cross pattern on each one. Sprinkle a little of the sugar you set aside over each one also if you desire. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Taking care not to over bake. They may look a little underdone but they aren't.If you're feelin' a little adventurous you may be able to push it a little. But don't get too crazy!
Cool cookies on the sheets for 1 minute then remove with a spatula to a place to cool.
