
The beauty of the Christian faith is that it challenges the believer to be an academic. It requires the disciple to become the teacher. It motivates the believer to pursue wisdom and logic. It gives way to esteem the arts of music, worship, dance, poetry, and awe of creation.
The Bible has guidance for the judge, the doctor, the mathematician, the architect, the legislator, the psychologist, the philosophist, and all walks of life will see a language universal to guide us all yet unique to each individual.
The numbers can speak to the mathematician while the laws provide spiritual truth to the legislator or the lawyer and judge.
What we see here is the only perfect thing we could ever hold in our lives.
Think about that for a second.
The Bible is the only perfect Holy Spirit-inspired transcribed Word of God.
The only empirical source that we can hold and easily observe the truth when sought out. The only perfect material thing in our lives.
Of course, this won't hit home until you have either believed or investigated the facts that lead to the conclusion that the Bible is truly Holy Spirit inspired and perfectly preserved within the field of textual criticism and historical evidence.
The Bible is our guide to the perfect state of being in Heaven. Preparing the way, preparing our souls. We inwardly desire order, wholeness, and balance but this is always at odds with the world of disorder. This division testifies to the fact we were created for a Garden of Eden type of place. A place in perfect harmony between God and humans.
