We are not perfect. We have human frailties. Which means we all at one point give into sin.

I saw a post the other day that said being perfect is not hard. Just don't give into sin.

Even as Christians, not giving into sin is hard. We all have our moments of doubt. And we all have our momments of sin.

God created us in His image. He gave us free will. In free will comes a choice. We can either go our own way, or follow our father's way.

Every parent wants their kid to be like them. However, they also know that the child will want to go their own way, and do their own thing. Only through teaching and patience can they dicaplin them to do the right thing.

The parent is God, and we are his children.

He does not expect us to exactly like him, and be perfect. He shows us the path of rightousness. It is long and bumpy. At the end of it is a buetifull paradise. The other path is short and easy, and has many pleasures along the way. At the end is a dark chasm.

He can take us to the water but he cannot make us drink it.

We may stray from the path, but if we remain true the Lord will help us back. However, if we don't and stray to far, we become slaves to sin. It is never to late to turn back though.

Our Father loves us. No matter if we are imperfect:)
